A weekly presenter on Shine 879 FM, Shelz has built a loyal following across Essex and London, becoming a standout figure in the rave and dance scene. My Journey

DJ Shelz’s love for mixing began at just 14 years old, spinning vinyl in the heart of the mid-90s rave era.

By 16, she was on pirate radio — and at 17, she joined Déjà Vu, one of South London’s biggest pirate stations, at a time when very few women were stepping behind the decks.

 

Growing up inside the raw, influential underground rave scene shaped her signature sound: 90s rave anthems, House, Garage, and pure dance-floor energy.

Shelz quickly became known for her sharp ear, fearless mixing style, and natural crowd connection.

 

Today, after decades in the culture, she continues to champion the rave revival — bringing nostalgia, passion, and high-vibe energy to every set.

Her journey from a teenage vinyl mixer to a standout DJ and brand creator is at the heart of House of Shelz.
